(Episode 4) “Don’t-think-too-much Kiss”: Due to a psychological trauma after seeing her mom have an affair, Ji Haesoo has never had intimate skinship with the other sex, not even to say kiss a guy before. She takes it very seriously when it comes to kissing, so she told Jang Jaeyeol that it’s not something that can be done easily for her. Jang Jaeyeol was a playboy, so he could not understand that and initiated a kiss with Ji Haesoo. What came next, as you would expect, was a tight slap from Ji Haesoo!
(Episode 5) “Just Kiss”: The two went on an outing together, and just as you always see in dramas, when they were alone, the two kissed! Against a very scenic waterfall background, the two were playing with water and when the timing was just right, Jang Jaeyeol went up to Ji Haesoo for a kiss. Surprisingly this time, Ji Haesoo returned the kiss as well. Ji Haesoo’s psychological barrier was not completely overcome though, as she felt uncomfortable again after realizing that they had kissed.
(Episode 7) “Let’s-date Kiss”: With the drama progressing quickly, the couple has affirmed their feelings for each other. After being beaten up by his brother, Jang Jaeyeol made a call to Ji Haesoo and started talking comfortably about his troubles with her. Ji Haesoo showed her understanding and told Jaeyeol how lucky he was to have a psychiatrist as a girlfriend. To this statement, Jaeyeol gave her a confirmation kiss. Haesoo kissed back, doing better than how she did previously, but still started breaking out in cold sweat after the kiss.
(Episode 8) “Soda-in-your-mouth Kiss”: The two were having a date in the park and Ji Haesoo was sharing how funny it was when Sookwang (played by Lee Kwangsoo) was kissed by a girl when there was still soda in the mouth, and he choked so bad after the kiss. Upon hearing it, curious Jaeyeol did the same and tried it out on Haesoo while she had soda in her mouth.
(Episode 8) “It’s-time-for-progress Kiss”: Jang Jaeyeol and Ji Haesoo went on an impromtu trip to Japan - just the two of them! After having fun around the island for a whole day, the two settled down at the beach for some chilling time. They ended sleeping together for the night at the seashore, which was a great step accomplished for Haesoo, and also for Jaeyeol as this was also the first time Jang Jaeyeol slept at a place besides his bathtub.
(Episode 11) “I’m-okay Kiss”: Jang Jaeyeol decided to move back to his original home because he needed inspiration and space for his novel writing. Since they were both busy and now living apart, the couple decided to make time for each other and meet every Friday night. One day, Haesoo went to Jaeyeol’s home but Jaeyeol was busy writing his novel. Haesoo decided to give him time and wait for him, but even till 4am, he was still busy typing away on his laptop. Haesoo had to go to work too, so she gave him a peck, not showing impatience or anger, but understanding.
(Episode 14) “I-still-love-you Kiss”: After being hospitalized for 2 weeks for treatment of his schizophenia, Ji Haesoo secretly visited Jang Jaeyeol in his ward. The hospital did not allow Ji Haesoo to visit him as it could cause Jang Jaeyeol to have a relapse. In this scene, Ji Haesoo initiated the kiss and affirmed her love for Jang Jaeyeol despite knowing that being with him could cause her suffering for the rest of her life. She then gives him another kiss when he pleaded in tears for her to let him out of the hospital.
(Episode 15) “Glad-that-you’re-back Kiss”: When Jang Jaeyeol finally finds out for himself that Kangwoo is just an illusion, he goes back to Ji Haesoo and asks for her help to get over Kangwoo. He also agrees to go back to the hospital to receive treatment, making Ji Haesoo overjoyed, although there is still one final barrier in their relationship - her mother who opposes the two.
(Episode 16) “Goodbye Kiss”: Jang Jaeyeol has been recovering well in the hospital, but calls up Ji Haesoo for a talk. He tells her to leave him and to go separate ways, since he knew that Haesoo’s mom and sister strongly opposed their relationship to the extent that the family might disown Haesoo. Ji Haesoo then leaves him in tears…. for her sabbatical leave :(
"It’s-okay-it’s-love Kiss": Finally back from her sabbatical, Ji Haesoo came back to the house with much excitement. Her roommates, including Jang Jaeyeol, acted cooly as she walked in. But in the end, Jaeyeol couldn’t help himself and gentlemanly asked Haesoo’s permission for a kiss. Haesoo readily said yes, and she was smiling from cheek to cheek that her happiness was obvious. The two then carried on with a passionate long kiss, not being shy even though their roommates were looking. And of course, we now have our favorite couple back together, happily ever after.
