近日，重回韓國演藝圈活動的歌手亞由美接受採訪，並袒露近況。
採訪中，原女團SUGAR成員亞由美表示：「固定節目出演是時隔11年，這讓我很緊張。其實，我沒告訴周圍朋友出演該節目，她們是看完節目《飛行少女》後才知道我出演節目的事情，算是一個Surprise吧，希望韓國粉絲們也能多多給予關注。」
目前，除了韓國活動，亞由美也仍在日本演藝圈活動，主要領域為歌手，演員。亞由美表示：「在日本主要是演戲，出演真人秀。我覺得做演員跟偶像團活動是完全不同的，兩者有不同的魅力，我在享受演技。」
接著，亞由美對於韓國演藝圈活動表示：「如果有機會，我是想演戲的。但我的韓語現在也都不是很好，對發音也沒什麼自信，但是我難得學了韓語，就不想忘掉它，為了以後演戲，我常拿韓語書練習發音。」
