6日播出的《姐姐們的Slam dunk》中，演員閔孝琳公開自己曾是JYP歌手練習生。
節目中為了實現閔孝琳的當女團夢想，大家被叫到JYP練習室。大家都很好奇為什麼在JYP練習室集合，閔孝琳坦言：“我小時候在這裡當過練習生。”成員們都沒有想到她竟然當過歌手練習生。
她接著說道：“在大邱的路上被公司關係人發現，然後通過海選，當了練習生。父母都反對我這樣做，讓我從大邱到首爾通勤，以為這樣我就可以放棄。”
練習生表示，自己哭過好多次，凌晨碰見醉漢也會很害怕，漸漸地也感到自己累了，覺得這樣下去不行了，所以在20歲時放棄了練習生之路。
