此前，劉承俊曾因逃避兵役被韓國政府下達禁止入境韓國的封殺令，時隔13年後，劉承俊首次通過網路媒體吐露心聲。
當天，劉承俊對於網民"回到13年的話是否會去軍隊"的提問回答道："當然要去了，一定會去的。"
接著補充道："當時完全沒有想到自己的決定會引發這樣大的爭議，假如能回到當初，一定不會心存二心地選擇參軍。"
